Veteran television personalities Jerry and Shirley Rose are the hosts of the Significant Living television show. They have been married for over forty years, and they know what it’s like to traverse the various stages of life and marriage.

For over thirty years, Jerry Rose has served as the president and CEO of the Total Living Network, in Aurora, Illinois. He has interviewed thousands of guests and brings his experience as a minister and broadcaster to every program.

Shirley Rose knows from firsthand experience that the second half of life can look very different from the first half. Early in adulthood, she stayed home while raising three children and then worked as an executive in the corporate world. After the age of fifty, Shirley “reinvented” her life. She wrote her first of five books and created and produced the Emmy-nominated TLN program Aspiring Women, which she also cohosts.

The parents of three and the grandparents of ten, Jerry and Shirley are passionate about encouraging baby boomers to embrace life after fifty and to live with significance.

"Significant Living is packed with practical advice for those of us over 50. I celebrate this milestone birthday this year and am so thrilled Jerry and Shirley have written a book packed with so much encouragement, humor, and practical help! The Roses are wonderful role models for making the most of life’s second half. Everyone who wants to make the rest of life the best of life should get a copy!"
